Silver streams of tears poured down your helpless face,
And I felt for you.
I felt the pain that your heart drenched itself in,
And the regret that your mind held deep within its grasp.
I told you it would be okay, and it will be.
All you need is time
To breathe, to cry,
To feel lifes deep revenge just to believe you're alive.
I told you
You only live once.
Take it day by day,
And if you notice something isn't right,
Get rid of it,
Because no matter how bad it hurts,
Or how long time takes to heal your wounds,
It will. The sun always rises, one way or another.

Looking into a Child's Eyes
When I was a little girl, I noticed that macaroni and cheese was my absolute favorite food as long as it was smothered in ketchup. I love Lucy was the best show ever, and because of this, TV was my life. i noticed the dull shade of pink lipstick my grandma wore, and that my mom didn't wear any at all. When i let the dog out of the house, i got into trouble; I noticed this quite often. I also noticed when one single toy was misplaced in my room, implying that one of my brother's had been snooping around. i actually never noticed the difference between the toy-stealer's and myself. They were boys and i was a girl, so what? I didn't notice that school meant more than recess and the huge class trips to the school library. Life meant fun, no worries. I didn't care about what people thought. Waking up 10 minutes before the bus came in time to brush my hair and teeth was fine. Differences meant nothing; Blue eyes or brown eyes, fat or skinny, boy or girl. It didn't matter. Everyone was the same, and we still are, some of us just haven't realized it yet.

When I Was a Little Girl...
When I was a little girl, I realized that barbie was lame, and dolls were boring. I would much rather be riding on the back of my brother's '2003 Yamaha blaster'. I was too small to drive it, but being a passenger was much more exciting. No worries of stalling, or the person behind you clenching onto your sides, squeezing the life out of you.
Sleep was one of my last priorities, as well as sitting quietly in my rose-pink room playing with inanimate objects- as known as barbie. How pathetic? I absolutely hated my birthdays, because all I got was barbie jeeps and barbie houses and amphibian barbie who had braided hair. Braided hair. If you took it out, her hair was forever traumatized. Ridiculous.
I ended up with a personality of a boy, but with two older brothers you get that, along with all of the times you chase each other through the house for eating the last Nutty Bar. Barbies and dolls will never make you strong, mentally or physically, but having two older brothers will.
